The holding of a red ball.  But it's not just holding.  The ball has strong and wild torque forces that are pushing and pulling back and forth, up and down, side to side, diagonal to diagonal and so it needs to be held quite firmly with great strength or else it will escape!  So it's not as passive and peaceful an image as you might think.  Fortunately a stability has been reached and will last as long as you look at the piece.
