C. Birksö & b. Mossman

Don't be so certain that a huge furry creature suddenly appearing in your peaceful, old-time, kitchen doorway is dangerous.  Perhaps, it just wants to borrow a bit of butter or sugar!  Maybe it just wants a bit of tea and a chat before its wife or husband returns home.  Maybe it needs a jump-start on it's car or truck.  It might also just ask you to brush its hair and scratch its back a bit.   

This is an acrylic addition onto an old, found,  thrift shop piece.  So I've collaborated with artist C. Birksö.  You'll find more of his pieces if you look him up.  I contacted an auction house to see if his paintings are garnering good prices now because I thought maybe I stumbled upon a treasure.  They didn't seem too excited about it though.  Maybe it will be a treasure now that we've collaborated together on it!  It's a really nice painting and so it was an honor to add a sweet, gentle creature in the doorway!
